The Cool Shield StrutSure 2x2 is designed to provide highly effective aisle containment in rooms that do not have sufficient overhead support options.
The robust frame allows containment structure to be freestanding. Horizontal support arms can be attached to the containment structure for mounting light to medium weight infrastructure components such including cable trays, power busways, vesda piping, lighting and much more. This functionality eliminates the need to build out and expensive support grid system or ceiling system above your server cabinets.
The 2” x 2” extrusion features two threaded channels and one slotted channel on each of the four sides. This allows for connecting parallel or perpendicular post sections for a configuration customized to each specific site condition. The integrated threaded channels align with our numerous bracketing options to allow for highly efficient onsite installation. The slotted channel frames plastic inserts or accepts several gasketing options for a tight seal to cabinet or ceilings.
The versatile post profile is designed to accommodate either fixed or sliding panels. Typical fixed panel installation will utilize 6mm twin wall polycarbonate. Overlapping 4mm sliding can be configured for sites that require access to busbars and cable trays.
