The Cool Shield Double Sliding Door system is highly functional and cost-efficient for aisles up to 72” wide. The double sliding door system is designed for efficiency with a low-profile and smooth operation. Standard hydraulic self-closing mechanism ensures doors close after aisle entry to minimize air leakage. Doors also have a magnetic hold open feature when doors are fully opened. This allows equipment to be brought into the aisles.
Most importantly, Cool Shield Double Sliding Doors seal the end of aisle entryways to prevent supply and exhaust air from mixing. Doors arrive fully assembled for quick and on-site installation. Finally, the Cool Shield door system is very efficient in terms of cost. Designed to incorporate as few parts as possible, there is minimal labor required in the fabrication of the doors. Each door is packaged as efficiently as possible to prevent over-size charges and minimize on-site storage requirements. Doors assemble in less than one hour to minimize installation time and cost.
Optional offset panels help seal aisles when cabinet rows are offset up to 6”. Optional side light panels allow Cool Shield Double Sliding Door system to contain aisles 100″ wide or more. Extension panels have a clear twin-wall polycarbonate insert with high light transmission and feature a ASTM e84 fire rating.
