Adjustable filler panels fill gaps between containment and server cabinet tops.

Over the past few years there has been a transition in the containment industry from vertical strips to panel-based solutions. One challenge of a panel-based system is accommodating multiple heights of server cabinets, as it is typically sized to the height of the tallest server cabinets in the aisle. This results in gaps between the containment system and shorter racks. For best results, these gaps need to be filled with filler panels to prevent air leakage.

The Versatility of Our Panels

Cool Shield has developed an effective solution to manage the multiple height issue. Our Containment Filler Panels are height-adjustable to fill gaps ranging from 3″ to 18″. The lightweight, fire-rated panels are scored every 1.75″ (1U) to easily snap off at the desired height. A slotted mounting hole ensures proper sealing of any size hole. Each panel is shipped with a ¼” gasket to allow for additional sizing accommodation.

The filler panels quickly install to the Cool Shield channel with a simple push rivet. Fabricated from a high-performance plastic, the Containment Filler Panels are extremely durable and feature an impressive UL-94 V0 fire rating. They are available in black, cream, white and blue to closely match nearly any server cabinet color.
