Clear containment panel walls, full or partial walls, to isolate the cold aisle or hot aisle by filling gaps between or above enclosures.

The Cool Shield panel walls provide the most flexible yet robust design to complete the containment of any aisle. In most data centers, server cabinet rows are not perfectly aligned. The two rows which create the aisle to be contained may have different lengths, heights, gaps or another challenge to full containment. Our Panel Walls allow optimum control over air bypass to allow maximum cooling efficiency.

Integration

Panels integrate with the Cool Shield channel system to provide unrivaled versatility in mounting, filling gaps and handling obstructions. Our channel frames the panels and affixes to the upper containment and/or floor. This rigidity assures that they will hold up to high air pressure differentials to prevent air leakage. These are available in clear to allow for high light transmission or in a color to best match your server cabinets.

Panel walls are often sized to the same height of your standard cabinets so that they can be serve as a temporary placeholder until a cabinet is placed in that space. A quantity can be pre-installed at our factory and shipped ready to use. Alternatively, in dynamic environments, components can be stored on-site to be cut to size and assembled as needed.

Cool Shield clear panels can also be used to cover existing cage walls to create a solid partition. Many co-location data centers separate customer spaces by using cages. However, adjacent areas are often not coordinated for proper airflow. Cage wall panels can better manage supply and exhaust air to prevent overheating issues and improve cooling efficiency.
